Hub vs Flip-Over: Picking Your First (or Next) Shelter

Short answer: Choose a hub if you fish with others or sit in one spot: it gives three to four times the space for less weight. Choose a flip-over if you move often and fish alone or with one partner: you can be fishing within a minute of drilling.

The pattern

Hubs give you 3–4× the space for less weight, but you set them up, anchor them and take them down at every move. Flip-overs give you speed: open, fish, close and pull, with your seat and gear riding in the tub.
