Flip-Overs: Clam Legend XT Thermal vs Eskimo Sierra Thermal
Short answer: Pick the Clam Legend XT Thermal (62 lb, 1 angler) if you fish alone and walk. Pick the Eskimo Sierra Thermal (82 lb, 2 anglers) if you fish with a partner and can tow with a machine.

A flip-over is the run-and-gun angler's shelter. The tub doubles as a sled, the seat is built in, and you can be fishing inside a minute after the hole is drilled. If you move five times a morning chasing perch or 'gills, a flip-over beats a hub. The trade-off is weight: you're pulling 60–80+ lb of sled and shelter.

Which one?
Solo and on foot: the Legend XT. Twenty pounds lighter matters on a long pull through slush, and the XT design adds headroom.
Fishing with a kid or a buddy: the Sierra Thermal is a true two-seater for about 20 lb more. Pull it behind a snowmobile or ATV if you can. Flipping the seats forward gives you room to haul gear.
Flip-over tips
- Wax the tub bottom. It pulls noticeably easier through wet snow.
- Run the heater low and crack a vent. Small insulated shelters warm fast.
- In wind, set the back toward the gust and use the ice anchors before you fish.
